On behalf of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and Thammasat Business School (TBS), Bangkok, Thailand – we are pleased to invite you to join us at The Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC) Global Finals 2016 and Symposium at Centara Grand Hotel, Central World on April 1-2, 2016.
GSVC was launched in 1999 by the Haas School of Business of the University of California at Berkeley, USA. It is the largest and longest-running social business plan competition which promotes entrepreneurial start-up companies which offer measurable social or environmental benefits in addition to profits. In collaboration with 13 premier business schools, universities, and programs in the US, Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, the competition aims to foster a new generation of business leaders.
Thammasat Business School first hosted the GSVC Southeast Asia Regional Competition in 2007. And this year, in collaboration with the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and UC Berkeley, it is our greatest honor to announce that for the first time in over a decade, the GSVC Global Finals event will be held outside of theUnited States – to Bangkok, Thailand.
In conjunction with the GSVC, the Think Big, Act Small Symposium will also allow thought leaders who work in design, creativity, and social impact, to talk about their work and inspire new ideas.
