Currently, Thammasat Business School (TBS) has only one Ph.D. program, i.e. the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Business Administration (Ph.D.)

INTRENATIONAL PROGRAM
Doctor of Philosophy Program in Business Administration (International Program), Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University, is a doctoral-level program dedicated to developing outstanding business scholars with strong academic excellence, advanced research expertise, and the ability to generate valuable new knowledge with international impact. The curriculum was revised in 2023 and has been implemented for students admitted from the 2023 academic year onward.
The program is delivered entirely in English on a full-time basis. It offers four fields of specialization: Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Management. Emphasizing the integration of theoretical foundations with rigorous, in-depth research, the program aims to equip students with the analytical capability to systematically examine business and economic issues within the contexts of Thailand, the Asian region, and the global environment.
During the first year, students are required to complete core and field-specific coursework and pass the Qualifying Examination before proceeding to the dissertation stage. Dissertation research must be presented at international academic forums and published in—or accepted for publication by—high-quality academic journals in accordance with the program’s specified criteria. The total duration of study is three years. Ultimately, the program seeks to cultivate academic leaders, researchers, and professionals who uphold integrity and ethical standards, and who play a meaningful role in advancing organizations and society toward sustainable development.
Scholarships to full time international students
Thammasat Business School, Thammasat University aims to promote internationalization by increasing the number of students from abroad within the faculty. To successfully achieve this objective, Thammasat Business School provides the scholarships to full time international students of the School. Until now, scholarships have been awarded in accordance with Thammasat University
