TBS ACCREDITED
Thammasat Business School (TBS) is the first business school in Thailand that has achieved the illustrious triple crown accreditation from the world’s most influential business school accreditation organisations since 2018 . Only the best business schools can achieve such a feat and of the over 14,000 business schools around the world. There are approximately 120 business schools, ( less than 1%), are triple-accredited.
A Triple Crown business school is one which has been awarded fully accredited international education standards from 3 international organisations, namely AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) from the United States, EQUIS (EFMD Quality Improvement System) from Europe, and AMBA (Association of MBAs) from the United Kingdom. Accreditation involves a stringent quality control process in which an independent body accesses the quality of a specific educational institution or study programme guaranteeing that students receive the highest quality education. All 3 types of accreditation have different assessment criteria and strict rules.
EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System): accredited in 2012
The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) is a non-profit organisation that certifies business education standards for business schools and business school programs, corporate universities and online courses. The EFMD quality control system is a comprehensive review which covers the whole institution including undergraduate level, graduate level, and executive courses. TBS attained EQUIS accreditation in 2012 by EFMD, not only for courses, but also academic activities including research and various academic collaborations.
AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business): accredited in 2017
AACSB is an international institute that aims to transform business education for global prosperity. Its role is to act as a central organisation for accreditation and quality assurance for business institutions or business schools around the world. AACSB accreditation is directed towards management and accountancy programmes at the school and is a global leader in the development of management education.
AMBA (Association of MBAs): accredited in 2018
AMBA (Association of MBAs) is an international quality assurance organisation from the United Kingdom for graduate business management programs. AMBA is an authority on graduate education management and is committed to raising standards and quality at an international level. A key benefit of AMBA accreditation is access to AMBA’s global community of students and alumni for networking, collaboration and career advancement.
