TBS Welcome Dinner for 2023 EFMD Global Asia Annual Conference
Before the global conference begins, Thammasat Business School warmly welcomed the international participants to the wonderful dinner at Never Ending Summer restaurant on 5th November 2023.
Thammasat Business School is honored to be the host of the “2023 EFMD Global Asia Annual Conference” on 5th-7th November 2023 at Millennium Hilton Bangkok. This is the first time that Thai business school has ever hosted the EFMD conference.
The participants enjoyed savory Thai dishes and had engaged in enriching conversations, creating a strong network between Asian business schools

The first day of 2023 EFMD conference (November 6, 2023) A hundred of participants fill up the grand ballroom at Millenium Hilton Hotel Bangkok.
The welcome address was given by
• Eric Cornuel, President, EFMD Global Network
• Gasinee Witoonchart, Rector of Thammasat University, Thailand
• Somchai Supattarakul, Dean, Thammasat Business School, Thailand
• The Chairperson, Lin Zhou, Dean of CUHK Business School
Keynote speaker was delivered by Mechai Viravaidya, The Founder and Chairman of the Population and Community Development Association, Thailand.
Under the theme of sustainable business schools, the speakers and participants discussed and exchanged knowledge and experience and built a strong network between Asian business school throughout the day.
After the sessions, the participants had joined an amazing crusing dinner, along Chao Phraya river. The atmosphere was filled with laugh and joy, together with savory international cuisine to perfectly end this wonderful night.
TBS success in hosting 2023 EFMD Conference (November 7, 2023)
On 7th November 2023, the 2023 EFMD Global Asia Annual Conference concluded with great success, showcasing a half-day session featuring insightful speakers across Asia. From TBS, Chaturong Napathorn, Assistant Dean for Research, Thammasat Business School and Chanchai Chaiprasit, CEO of PWC Thailand highlighted the sustainability and research topics.
Our Dean gave the special gifts to all the speakers, Thai herbal neck pillow “HormHerb”, embroided with TBS letters. The special neck pillow is the product of social engagement subject following “Thammasat Model”, which TBS students work with the local enterprise to sustainably improve and uplift the whole community’s lives. This HorbHerm is the product of Rayong community enterprise, the eastern province of Thailand, that can help relieve the office syndrome.
