INTRODUCING RESEARCH WORKSHOP
The Inaugural TBS Accounting Research Workshop aims to encourage a successful research collaboration and a fruitful academic environment between the faculty members of Thammasat Business School (TBS) and professors from several world-class universities in the accounting field, including Columbia University, Queen Mary University of London, HEC Paris, and City University of London. Additionally, it intends to encourage those faculty members to publish impactful research papers in several leading journals such as European Accounting Review, Review of Accounting Studies, Accounting in Europe, Accounting and Business Research, and Journal of Business Finance and Accounting. This workshop will be held on March 6-9, 2024 at TBS, Tha Prachan campus, and is exclusively for selected faculty members, researchers, and doctoral candidates from various business schools across regions.

DEADLINES
Interested faculty members, researchers, and doctoral candidates need to submit an application form via the following link or QR code by February 15, 2024. The notification of participation will be on February 22, 2024.

APPLICATION PROCESS
APPLICATIONS
Interested faculty members, researchers, or doctoral candidates must submit online application forms together with the following documents. All of the documents must be written in English. The committee members and/or program coordinators of the research workshop will then select participants based on those documents.
• A curriculum vitae of the applicants that highlights the aptitude/motivation for conducting research in the field;
• A recommendation letter from faculty members or referees supporting the application(for doctoral candidates only);
• A one-page description of their research topics/interests.
PROCESS
1. Submit an online application form with all required documents by the deadline.
2. Announce the results of selection.
3. Confirm the applicant’s participation in the research workshop.

The research workshop will start on the evening of March 6, 2024, and is scheduled to end on the evening of March 9, 2024. It will take place in Room 500, TBS Building, Thammasat Business School, Tha Prachan campus, Bangkok, Thailand
